Spore

A spore is a reproductive structure. Spores are haploid or unicellular and are produced by meiosis. Once external conditions are favorable, the spore develops into a new organism by mitotic division. The main difference between spores and seeds is that spores have little food storage compared to seeds, and therefore require more favorable conditions in order to germinate.
