Eukaryote

All living organisms can be divided into two fundamental groups: eukaryotes, or prokaryotes. Eukaryotes have membrane-bound nuclei containing DNA and membrane-bound organelles. Eukaryotic organisms can be uni- or multicellular. Animals, plants, fungi, and protists are eukaryotic. The angiosperm shown in this picture is a plant, which is a eukaryote.
