R-Strategist #2

Animals can be classified many different ways. One way to classify them is with R and K strategizing. An R-strategist is a small animal that produces a lot of offspring all at once to heighten the chances of at least a few individual survivors. They evolved to do this because their environments are generally unstable. Their offspring mature quickly and die young, and the parents put minimal to no effort into caring for their offspring. These fish are examples of R-strategists.
