Frond

Fronds are generally a term used to refer to the leaves of ferns (botanically) but it can also be used to describe leaves of palms and cycads as well. A frond is a rather large leaf that splits off into other leaves and divides itself. (For a better idea, just look at the pretty picture…) The picture shows the leaf of a palm tree, and as you can see, the bigger leaf kind of separates into smaller leaves.
