This cat is an example of a K-strategist, the other group in the r/K selection theory. These organisms live in stable environments unlike r-strategists and focus on having fewer offspring with a higher chance of survival. The offspring though, require longer parental care before they leave on their own. Individuals in this group are larger in size and have longer life.
