Ectotherm

Ectotherm

An Ectotherm is an organism whose internal body temperatures are determined by the temperature of the environment around them. These organisms are referred to as cold-blooded. A frog is a perfect example of an ectotherm. This picture is a frog in a pet store that is being kept under a light. This light is keeping the frog at a stable, livable temperature.
