Endosperm

The endosperm of a flower is found next to the ovule, and when pollen enters the ovum to fertilize the ovule, another pollen, making two total, fertilizes the endosperm. The endosperm is the plants first nutrition source. When the ovule and endosperm are fertilized, it is called double fertilization.
