Frond

A frond is a divided leaf. On one point of the leaf, it starts to grow out in multiple directions, creating the divided leaves. The leaves of ferns are fronds. Fronds are like all other leaves, having a stalk and a blade, but instead of it being called the petiole and blade, it is known as the stipe and rachis. The blades can be classified into being simple, pinnatifid, or pinnate.
