Bilateral Symmetry (butterfly-picture will not upload)

An animal with bilateral symmetry has mirror-image right and left sides, a distinct anterior end, a posterior end, and a ventral surface. The symmetry of an animal fits its lifestyle so most bilaterally symmetrical animals, such as butterflies, are active and travel headfirst through the environment , with their eyes and other sense organs contacting the environment first.
