Detritovores (rat-picture will not upload)

Detrivores are consumers which derive their energy from detritus, the dead material produced at all the trophic levels. Most organic matter eventually become detritus. A great variety of animals, also called scavengers, eat detritus. Such animals include earthworms, many rodents, insects, crayfish, crows, and vultures.
