Epithelial Tissue (skin-picture will not upload)

Epithelial tissue, also called epithelium, occurs as sheets of tightly packed cells that cover body surfaces and line internal organs and cavities. One side of an epithelium is anchored to underlying tissues by a basement membrane. The other side faces the outside of the organ, like the skin, or the inside of a tube or passageway.
