Phloem

During photosynthesis, glucose, starch, and other nutrients are created. These organic molecules are then carried by the phloem throughout the entire plant. In the picture the stem can be seen. Phloem is found through the entire plant and is made up of parenchyma cells, sieve tubes, and companion cells.
