Tropism

This flower has grown from under the brush it was covered by in order to reach more sunlight. Tropism is an organism responding to an environmental stimulus. There are varying names depending on what the stimulus is. For example, a plant leaning towards the sunlight in a shady area would be an example of phototropism.
