Eukaryote

A eukaryote is an organism whose cells contain membrane enclosed organelles (such as mitochondria, chloroplasts and the Golgi apparatus) and a nucleus, or nuclear envelope, that contains its genetic material. All complex organisms such as animals, plants, and fungi are eukaryotes.
