Autotroph

Autotroph

this is a picture of an eggplant plant. This plant is another example of an autotroph. An autotroph is an organism that has the ability to make organic molecules form inorganic sources. This plant uses photosynthesis to use light to provide necessary sustenance. The autotrophs, such as plants, are the producers of the food chain. The consumers, like humans, get their energy in one way or another from an autotroph.
