The kingdom Eubacteria consists of unicellular organisms that can be heterotrophs, autotrophs, or chemotrophs; basically all bacteria except for archaebacteria. Eubacteria are prokaryotic and have no membrane enclosed nucleus. The word eubacteria literally translates to “true bacteria” and the kingdom includes most of the important bacteria such as E. coli and salmonella. Yogurt products consist of about 80% bacteria. The process of making yogurt involves taking bacteria and fermenting it with milk.
