2#2 Complex Carbohydrate
Complex carbohydrates aka starches are made up of many simple sugars often in linked chains or strings. Complex carbs are healthier than simple sugars because while they contain starch they also have dietary fiber. Examples of complex carbohydrates are bread, corn, pasta, cereal, and rice. Complex carbs are converted to glucose in the digestive system. The picture above is of pasta-like noodles which is a complex carbohydrate.
