Frond
A frond is a large divided leaf of a plant. Many use this term specifically for the leaves of a fern, but others allow it to be used for large leaves like the palm. The stalk of a frond is called the stipe which then continues into the blade and is called the rachkis. The blade may be simple (undivided), pinnatifid(not devided completely), or pinnate(compound leaflets). The picture above is of a pinnate frond in my backyard.
