Seed dispersal
Seed dispersal is the transport of seeds away from the producing plant. Plants rely on dispersal vectors to accomplish this as they have limited mobility. There are five main modes of seed dispersal which are wind, water, animals, gravity, and ballistic. The picture above is of wind during a thunderstorm blowing palm fronds. This carries seeds far away from their producing plants.
