Vestigial Structures

Vestigial structures are structures on organisms that have seemingly lost most of the original function present in its ancestor species. In this picture is a broad range of grass. Grass often has small, undeveloped structures that resemble those of some flowering plants. These structures on the grass would be considered vestigial structures.
