Gibberellins are plant hormones that regulate growth and influence various developmental processes. These processes include stem elongation, germination, dormancy, flowering, enzyme induction, sex expression. There are approximately 126 gibberellins found in plants, fungi, and bacteria. They are classified on the basis of their structure and function, unlike auxin, which is classified only according to function.
